Who We Are
Our Mission Statement
The Montgomery County Veterans Treatment Court will serve those who willingly sacrificed for our country & find themselves involved in the criminal justice system by providing needed treatment & services under judicial supervision in order to restore the veteran to their honored status within our community. |
Our History
The Montgomery County Veterans Treatment Court (MCVTC) was established in 2012 to address the need for a more specialized court to serve veterans and soldiers. This need was particularly evident in Montgomery County due to the large veteran population and close proximity of Fort Campbell, KY. The court is based off of the very first VTC, established 2008, in Buffalo, New York. The MCVTC continues to grow and develop the resources necessary to serve more court participants. The MCVTC is held every Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. in the DIV I courtroom with Judge Ken R. Goble Jr. Assisting Judge Goble is the VTC Team and Veteran Mentor Program. Court is open to the public and visitors are welcome. |
